Happy National Scrapbooking Day, and a big catch up..

... as I seem to have been missing in action for a couple of weeks..
I have been a busy bunny, both scrapping and non-scrapping wise. I bit the bullet and made a start on Mum's 60th album, which I managed to finish in a couple of days - I used a simple sketch and repeated it throughout, using a BG Sultry 6x6 paper pad, and foam Thickers and a couple of sets of Autumn Leaves stamps :) I am waiting for Mum to visit to help me finish off some journalling on it, and then I will probably scan it all in - and maybe share a couple of LOs, but I am very happy with how it has turned out :)

I have done some other scrapping aswell, and used up all the page kits I had sorted...

This LO uses a September 2007 pagemap, and I used my March Scrapagogo kit - the papers are K& Co and Fancy pants :)
I used 2 differed fonts of foam Thickers for the title, and the journalling is on a MM journalling pad page.

This LO uses an October 2007 pagemap, and it is a pagemap I have used before, but I love the sketch, so I can see me using it again and again. I used Sassafrass Lass papers, and the circles are cut from a Scenic Route Loveland paper. The journalling is on a MM journalling pad page again, and the title uses Thickers again LOL.

This LO I scraplifted from the May/June 08 edition of Simple Scrapbooks, the original is by Margaret Scarborough. I used BG and MM papers, some scalloped bazill, and the title is Scenic Route alpha stickers, and Scenic Route chipboard letters which have been painted yellow and then stamped usinf Autumn Leaves swirls v2 stamps.

For this LO I used an August 2007 pagemap, and used up lots of scraps :) The papers are Scenic Route and Sassafrass Lass, and the flowers are silk ones I have had in my stash forever. The brad is a cord covered one :) Title is Scenic Rout alpha stickers and felt Thickers :)

Last weekend was a Cyber crop on UKS, with lots of great classes. I didn't get a chance to do anything during the weekend, but I did download and print off the classes I fancied doing, and I have done a couple of them over the past week :)

This class was designed by Cleo Jarvis, and was called Holes, and involved "cheeseholing" - ie using my cropodile to punch loads of holes in card stock and papers LOL. My wrist really ached after I had done this, but I am soo pleased with how it turned out.

The papers were old papers - Paper Adventures papers that I have no idea when and where I got them LOL, and I threw in a sheet of Scenic Route aswell ;)

There was a mini book for journalling made out of folded cardstock, here it is opened up :)

This class was designed by Gertie (UKS name) and was called "the Stuntman". I used Fancy pants and Scenic Route papers, and some KI memories lace cardstock. The title uses Scenic Route alpha stickers too :)

Looking back on this long post, I realise I have a thing about Scenic Route LOL. But my stocks are depleting, so it'll be interesting to see how I cope without any Scenic Route papers in my stash... I also have had a run on using Kraft card, so much that I have had to reorder some... I have a huge box file of card, but have been reaching for the kraft more and more...

I did sit and make up 8 more page kits last night, so that should keep me quiet for a while.. Mark is away next week, so plenty of chances for guilt free scrapping! He moaned the other night that I never do any pages of him, so I might dig out the 8x8 I have started on him, and see what I can add to it. Might have to scan in some more photos....
