A couple of cards, and a layout...

Been beavering away in my cubbie LOL. Tom has a party to go to on Sunday, so I made a card for his wee friend James :) I used my rock star Nellie, and embossed the 6 in my Cuttlebug. Paper is Basic Grey:)

Mother's Day cards next - I usually make 2 the same, seeing as the mothers don't live near each other and rarely speak.....
Another Sugar Nellie stamp, more Cuttlebug embossing, and the paper is Making Memories :)

I did a LO last night too, one of Tom in One Tree Hill Domain in Auckland :) I love the shadows in this photo, winter sun throws great shadows :)

The papers are Scenic Route, the card is bazzill, there is a bit of MM noteworthy paper there too :) Alpha stickers are Basic Grey, and there is rik rak, buttons and a prima birdie in there too :) Oh and a few staples too...

Been trying to do something easter-y today, but not quite finished it off, so I sat and looked out a few photos to scrap and some pagemaps to use :)

Penguins and spacehoppers....

... obscure I know, but this is what I have been scrapping this week...

Firstly penguins - these fellas were at Kelly Tarlton's aquarium in Auckland. They had their own enclosure which you rode around in a Snowcat ride. They just seemed to stand still the whole time, as if they were posing for photographs LOL

This LO is done using Pencillines Sketch 68, and I used some quite old stash to do it, the yellow is embossed vellum, and the paper is from a job lot I purchased off a scrapper who was wanting to get rid.... and I had no idea what was in the box when I purchased it LOL... but I have found a use for some of it now! The grey flowers are from a large silk prima flower I dismantled, the title is cut with Sizzlit Nouveau font and then I added some black stickles to help it stand out a bit:)

Now spacehoppers.... I adored my spacehopper, and was devastated when it had a misunderstanding with one of my Dad's rose bushes and deflated :( This photo was one I found at my Gran's, and I love my expression :) I must have been 4, and look - red shoes (albeit very scruffy red shoes LOL)

I used a pagemap from August 2007, and I finally cut into Feb's Scrapagogo kit, using some of the lush Scenic Route Loveland papers :) Added a few PM buttons, and a large flower which came in a Little Silver Hat ribbon kit :) The rik rak is gorgeous velvet rikrak, again from LSH :)
The title is done using American crafts velvet thickers, which were in the Gogo kit, although they seemed to shed everywhere, like a moulting dog...

I finished tidying up my cubbie, hence all the scrapping, as I have spent the past 3 nights in there LOL. I have a little radio in there now too, and everything is now to hand, and I have a little bit of space too, so I don't feel quite so crammed in!

I have a birthday card to make for Sunday, but apart from that I can do what I like !!

This weeks offerings...

... 2 layouts I have been planning for a while, and I finally got them done :)

Both use photos of me at Christmas in 1973, these are the last 2 photos too, so I can say I have completely scrapped a Christmas now LOL. I used pagemaps to do both these LOs :)

I used bazzill card and K&Co papers on these 6x12 LOs, and on the Beep Beep one the title is handcut from felt:)

Been trying to reorganise my craft room again, had a bit of a move round (well as much as I can in the small space I have) and I seem to have found more space :) I just want to be able to access all my stash without having to do major removals every time... We shall see how it goes...

Two posts in one day....

... wow that's a first for me LOL

Even though I am feeling decidedly dodgy, I thought a bit of craft would be therapeutic.... and it was :)

Sat down this afternoon and did this LO...

The kids under the Sky Tower - photo taken by Mark as he was prepared to sit on the pavement to do it ;)

Cardstock is Bazill and PaperMania, papers are Scenic Route, Sassafrass Lass and Love, Elsie. Flowers came from my lovely teamie Carol, and the button is also PaperMania. The title is American Crafts Milan alpha stickers from Januarys Scrapagogo kit :)

Off to lie down now...

Holiday memories

I have not been feeling great this week, so crafting has been put on the back burner for a while. I did make a couple of birthday cards, but no layouts this week...

I also managed to break my diet :( but I did NEED some more Love, Elsie Toby papers to finish this mini album....

Papers are all Love, Elsie Toby range, and the chipboard letters on the front are Scenic Route, and I changed the ribbon to compliment the colours, and that is Paper Mania :) I painted the edges with MM paint that came with January's Scrapagogo kit ;) So many good memories of New Zealand whilst doing this album *sigh*

February's Scrapagogo kit arrived yesterday, and it is lovely, going to have to put my thinking cap on to work out how to use some of these papers, some very PINK ones in there....

Going to get more day nurse now, hopefully will feel a bit more with it in the next couple of days...
