I must say that I am really pleased with how it's turned out, and hopefully my friend will be too.
I used 3 paper bags - the american style block bottomed bags. I've had a pile of them for ages, can't even remember where I got them from LOL. I used papers from the Scenic Route Grafton range, and matching Bazzill cardstock. I used my long forgotten Heidi Swapp stamp on some of the pages, the travel themed words worked great. The flowers are Prima. Ribbons are from my vast ribbon box!
The "adventure" title was cut using the "Life's a Beach" cart in my Cricut. Thanks Erika for the loan xx. The chipboard suitcase is from Maya Road.
Wave border is also on the "Life's a Beach" cart, along with the plumeria flower.
The last paper bag book I made was a few years ago for a friend who had just had a baby boy, but it was good doing one again. I used to love looking at some of the amazing bag books for sale on Ebay, and my book has been inspired by their use of machine stitching and distressing - not that I don't ink everything anyway ;)
I'm wanting to do paper bag books for my kids birthday cake photos - every year they have a photo with their cake LOL. I ordered more Scenic Route papers to do them in - I just love Scenic Route, can't believe they are no more :( So I am using as much as possible so I can continue to enjoy it for a wee while yet LOL.
Off to spark up the BBQ as it has been a lovely sunny day up here on the Moray Coast. Even got the garden weeded! A wee walk and an 99 ice-cream made it a perfect day :)
