I decided that I would scrap the photos, so I sat down on Thursday night and did it. So the photos were taken on Wednesday, and I finished the layout 24 hours later LOL. That never happens....
I used a LHS of a 12x12 double page map from April 2010 for this, removing some of the photos to make room for my title and journalling.

I finally got round to looking through our 2008 holiday photos... They have been put in a folder, all nice and safe, since they came from Photobox! As I was going through them, I realised that we had a thing for using the continuous shot feature on our Fuji! We can program it to take 3 photos one after the other, which is great for doing action sequences. The hotel pool was a popular venue to use this, as Tom had a thing for jumping in it LOL.
I used a September 2009 PageMap for this one. I love that I could place the photos on the left hand page so that the pool edge lined up.

Excitement this week too, as I got paid! And this included an annual bonus! Which has led me to treat myself and order a CRICUT!!!!!!! I've only gone for a small one, and one of the original personal machines instead of the Create. I think I may treat myself to the Design Studio software at a later date. Hopefully it will be with me sometime next week, and I'll get to have a play :) My friend has also been to IKEA for me, and phoned me to say that she had my 2 x 4 Expedit bookcase. So maybe, just maybe I'll now get to sort out the craft room properly.
I am thinking about ordering some more Promarkers too.... Well, if I can't treat myself, eh....
Mark is painting the fence as I type, Jemma is on the trampoline with her friend, and Tom is in the lounge Super Smash Brother's Brawl-ing with his pal, so maybe I will just sneak off into the craft room for a bit....
